Zamorano is
a cheese from a Spanish country that has a hard texture and is made using
pasteurized sheep's milk. This cheese has a resemblance to Castellano and
Manchego cheese but Zamorano cheese is rougher.
This cheese is matured in a
room that has a high humidity level so that gray natural mushrooms can thrive
on this cheese. Cheese Zamorano usually matured in an underground cave near the
vineyard causing this cheese has a fruit character.
Cheese Zamorano can be
consumed along with biscuits, olives and wine. In addition, this cheese can
also be used on grilled meat dishes, burgers and salads. This cheese can melt
well when shredded and can be a delicious addition to the omelette.
