Munster is
a cheese from the Vosges area in eastern France made with pasteurized cow's
milk. Munster cheese is available in two sizes.
The first has a round shape
with a diameter of 12 to 20 centimeters, a height of 2.5 to 8 centimeters and a
weight not exceeding 1 kilogram. The second is named with Petit Munster.
The weight of the Petit
Munster is at least 4 ounces with a diameter of 8 to 12 centimeters and a
height of 2.5 to 5 centimeters. Munster is a cheese with a pungent smell and a
sweet taste is salty too.
In the process of making
Munster cheese rubbed with salt continuously for two to three months. This
causes the skin of Munster cheese to be light and has a sharp aroma.
