Grevé or
Grevéost is Swedish cheese made similar to Emmental cheese using cow's milk.
Grevé cheese is a cheese made from Emmental cheese from Switzerland but this
cheese has a more flexible texture and more dense.
This cheese has several
large holes on the inside. The color of the inside of this cheese is pale while
it tastes sweet, sweet like beans and full of cream.
Once matured, the flavor of
the cheese becomes firmer but the character and taste does not look like the
original Emmental cheese. This cheese has a wheel-like shape and weighs about
15 pounds. Grevé cheese can be served as a snack and is a cheese that can melt
well and can be shredded.
