Couscous (IPA / kʊskʊs / - Berber) or usually called Maftoul in Jordan, Lebanon, Israel and Palestine is the main food in the Maghreb countries, more popular in Algeria, Morocco, Tunisia and Libya. This food is made from rice. This food is more popular in Sahel, France, western Sicily in the province of Trapani in Italy, and partly in the Middle East.


In the United States, Couscous is a type of pasta. Couscous is produced from Semolina. Couscous can be cooked with many other dishes such as beef, lamb, vegetables, and so forth according to taste.
