Chianti is a famous red wine
from Chianti in the region of Tuscany, Italy. Chianti wine is easily
recognizable from a bottle pack called fiasco, a short bottle wrapped in wicker
baskets. Now the Chianti wines are increasingly packed in regular wine bottles,
and the fiasco packaging is only used by some manufacturers. Chianti wines are
generally inexpensive, although there is also an upscale Chianti that is sold
for a higher price.
