Chaumes is
a soft-textured French cheese made with pasteurized pasteurized milk. This
cheese is one of the cheeses popular in France and is produced by a cheese
company called Fromageries des Chaumes.

is soft textured and has a bright orange color. Meanwhile, the interior of this
cheese is smooth, supple and elastic. Since 1977 Chaumes cheese has been made
in the town of Saint Antoine de Breuilh in the Dordogne department. This
cheese-making recipe remains the same since it was first made in 1971.
Chaumes cheese was washed
