Brühwurst is a typical German (Wurst) sausage type. This
type of sausage is one of the most diverse in Central Europe, ie almost 800
types. In Germany alone 60% of the sausages are Bruhwurst types made from pork
or fresh beef, and bacon.
These meats
are finely chopped and mixed with salt, pepper, and other ingredients such as
coriander, ginger, nutmeg, cardamom, pepper and so on depending on the type of
sausage made.
The term
boiled sausage comes from the way it is boiled in hot water. Once processed,
this type of sausage should be put in the refrigerator and can be eaten
immediately. The most widely produced types include Fleischwurst, Bierwurst,
Jagdwurst, Bierschinken, Paprikawurst, Zigeunerwurst and Bierschinken.
