Boursin is
a fresh French cheese made with pasteurized cow's milk. This cheese is named
after the man who first created it in 1957 namely François Boursin. When asked
to classify his cheek, Boursin chose the name Gournay taken from the name of
the town where he lived.
That's why, on every Boursin
cheese wrapper it says "Natural Gournay Cheese". There are three
types of Boursin cheese. The first type is an original type that has not added
any spice. The second type is Boursin cheese which is added with garlic and
spices. Meanwhile, the third type is flavored with peppered beans that have
been destroyed. This cheese is cylindrical and has no skin.
