Ardrahan is
an Irish cheese made by Eugene Burns and Mary Burns using pasteurized cow's
milk. This cheese once won a silver medal at the 1995 "British Cheese
Awards". Arbroahan's cheese has a distinctive and yellow inner aroma.
The skin part of the cheese
is washed with salt water. Because this cheese is made by hand, the size and
size of the cheese varies. In general, large Ardrahan cheese weighs about 1.5
kilograms while small ones weigh 300 grams.
In making this cheese is
used pure milk and vegetarian rennet. Large Arbroahan cheese can last for 16
weeks while small cheeses can last for 8 weeks.
