Ringworm
disease is an infectious skin disease caused by a dermatophyte fungal
infection. The period of ringworm infection until the disease is a few days.
The ringworm symptom is a small rough patch on the skin surrounded by a pink
ring. Ringworm can be transmitted through direct contact with the patient or
indirectly (through clothing for example). The disease vectors are usually dogs
and cats. Ringworm can be prevented by washing hands perfectly, maintaining
body hygiene, and avoiding contact with patients.
