The kompia (pronounced
Kom-pyang, Jian'ou dialect: Guang-mongo), is a kind of bread or cake that is
popular in some countries in Southeast Asia including Indonesia especially in
places where the dominant Chinese society is descended from Foochow (Fuzhou) . Kompia is from Fuzhou, the capital of Fujian Province, People's Republic of
China.
