Filo (or
phyllo) (Greek: φύλλο "leaf") is an unleavened dough used to make
pastries such as baklava or börek in Middle Eastern cuisine and Balkan cuisine.
The filo-based pastry is made by coating several sheets of filo with olive oil;
The pastry is then baked.
