Chapati
(sometimes spelled chapatti, chappati, chapathi, or chappathi), also known as
bread, safati, shabaati and roshi (in the Maldives), is a kind of unleavened
and flat bread from Subbenua India and is a common staple food in India, Nepal
, Bangladesh, Pakistan and Sri Lanka. Chapati is made from whole wheat flour
known as atta, salt and water, then cooked on a tava (wok flat).
