Beligo or
baligo or blonceng or kundur (Benincasa hispida) is a vines planted because the
fruit can be eaten and considered as vegetables.
This fruit feels smooth and
hairy surface when it is raw, when it is ripe the fruit is losing its feathers
and softened, and can last long. The shape of the fruit is round and there are
elongated and can reach two meters, although usually sold when the length of
half to one meter. The fruit was originally cultivated in Southeast Asia, but
is now also grown in East and South Asia.
